Merry Christmas to my sister and her family. She was like Audrey Hepburn to me when I was growing up! And how adorable is my nephew!
How time flies. Pictures from last winter in lovely Hawaii.
My sister and I before we hit the nude beach in Maui. A defining moment in my life, how truly revolting the human body is when you have to stare at it all afternoon! The scariest part was body surfing and getting out of the water to see a male organ of copulation right in front of you.

My favorite spot in all of Kauai, the whistling horn, second to the surf spot near the fancy hotel.
A lighthouse in Kauia. If I do decide to commit suicide, this would be a nice, dramatic place to end it all. :-P

Surf session in the sunset, no wonder the aloha spirit is alive in the islands of Hawaii.

I left my lonely planet in my sister's house. This is a river in Kauai where we listened to Hawaiian songs and watched beauiful girls do the hula on a boat ride to a very secluded cave. I would want to get married here!
How cool is my sister neighbor's house in Maui? I remember the talented surfers in the Philippines who cannot even afford to buy their own boards. Damn, I have not even saved enough money for a new board!

Jaws on a very diappointingly flat day. I had to convince the other tourists that this is where they shot the opening scene for "Tomorrow Never Dies". And yes, you have to wear this silly contraption to appease the aliens that governs the area.
Kayaking in Kauai. The island is one big playground. And they have the most enchanting waiters. One guy made me forget that I was drinking some green slime and eating leaves! Someday I will return and ask him to marry me. I just have to remember the name of the wretched vegetarian restaurant!

Driving by one of the most beautiful sunset I have witnessed in my life. Notice the old man paddling his surfboard, lucky is the woman who decided to grow old with such a wonderful soul. Or maybe he is just an old drunk who could not get a job! The first one sounds more romantic.

One year later after the trip, Lou (the beautiful Australian girl I made friends with) is yet to send me the pictures from Honolulu and the north shore of Oahu. I had fun hunting the "Banyan Tree" from Lost, eating pineapple grown by the sweet Filipina woman, flirting with surfers from Pipeline, contemplating if we should fake drowning just so the hot lifeguard would notice us at the Sunset Bay, surfing and partying at the Waikiki beach, hiking to a crater where you could see the beautiful coastline of Honolulu. I'm definitely coming back!
