Ryan Gosling

I love Ryan Gosling despite the fact that he was from the Mickey Mouse Club, made the Notebook and is dating that blah girl McAdams. I have not seen Half Nelson yet but I'm sure he deserves the nomination. He always have chosen complex characters and played them superbly. His more memorable roles were as the Jewish Neo-Nazi in the Believer and the smart murderous teen in Murder by Numbers. In the United States of Leland, which was the first movie I saw while I was in Japan, he gave a very heartfelt performance as a dysfunctional teen who killed an autistic kid. Indie actress Jena Malone was in the movie too (she should be dating Gosling). God forbids he wins the Oscars, I don't want to see him doing big Hollywood movies like the Notebook.
