dinner at a manor and the violet screen

Three days in Goteborg and I love the place, so far. We got lost yesterday but it was a very charming experience. We were running like crazy tourists to bus stops. The weather is very indecisive in this place, one minute the sun is shining and the next minute it starts to rain. I went to a sushi place today and I thought it would be a good opportunity to practice my waning Japanese skills. It turned out the shopkeeper were Filipinos. What a lovely surprise! I knew there is bound to be someone from home here. We had dinner at a manor today which has a lovely view of a lake. It was very cold since it started raining but it was really a lovely night. We had great food and interesting conversations. I would have taken tons of pictures of the lake and the really good looking Swedish guys all over the place but the lcd screen of my camera turned violet as soon as I got here. Apparently this happens to cameras that were manufactured in 2004 to 2006 if the lens are exposed to a sudden shift in climate. Bummer! I have to find a sony service center here!
