slowly crawling back to life

I'm trying to remember that movie where a woman was so obsessed with a man that she followed him all over the world. At the end of the movie though, she passed by him in the streets and she did not even recognized him. Well, I am not that woman. I think with my short attention span and fleeting interest in things, I am not the kind of woman who will have an obsession. I did have an interest though, only that suddenly it all became blurry. I think I can blame it on my poor vision. It was like that scene from "A Love in the Time of Cholera", where she walks in the market to shop for her wedding dress and she suddenly saw her betrothed and realized she did not knew him at all. Oh God, I should stop reading and watching love stories.
