Staying with my cousin and her lovely kids before I hit home for the new year. Just came back from an amazing climb to the crater of Mt. Pinatubo, pictures and travel stories in my next post. My nieces are 9, 7, and 5 can't stop talking about their crushes at school. So I asked them what would they do if they liked a guy but the guy does not like them back. And their answers (translated to English) blew me away!
Age 9: I will make him like me by being really nice. If that does not work I will go to a witch (mangkukulam) and buy a love potion. (I thought this kid watches too much TV!).
Age 7: I will kill myself! (She interrupted her organ playing to say this in a very serious tone, I swear she scared even the roots of my facial hairs).
Age 5: I will kill him! So that he cannot like someone else!
My cousin is raising psychopaths!
Happy new year everyone. I hope greater things for all next year. I love getting hugs and kisses during the holidays! I'm going back to being horizontal and the books I have lined up.
