Family affairs and vacation can be really stressful. On top of that, I have a deadline to meet. I am having a writer's block and should be freaking out but instead I am playing cards with my sisters. Life is too short to be worrying. So many pictures and videos to post and movies to catch. I'm reading Woody Allen, all is good. I opened my eyes and heart at the beach for four days and met no one interesting. Woody wrote this short story about a magician who invented a box that sends people to pages of their favorite books. So a balding Jewish guy gets to have an affair with Madame Bovary but gets trapped in a Spanish book being chased by the verb "tener". I have spent an entire day contemplating which character I would want to have an affair with. I thought of Darcy but I think he will get boring after awhile. I think I would prefer a chatty character, someone witty and sexy, lover of the outdoors, and more importantly flawed. Someone quirky, say he has a duck for a pet. I have to make sure I don't get trapped in a cook book though. I don't want to spend my days being chased by a headless chicken!
