Brian May of the Queen hands in his thesis for a PhD in Astronomy after 30 years! I have always wanted to study astronomy even though there is no University in the Philippines that actually offers a course on Astronomy. So the next best thing I did was to join the Astronomy Organization in University. You would think that astronomy is just for geeks, wrong. Brian May joined one of the most influential band in the history of rock music. The kids from my astronomy org climbed mountains, stared at the stars and made out in their tents. I think I'll look for my star map tomorrow.
